We covered everything. From the pressure of London 2012, to the relief of winning European gold, Eilidh has experienced it all.

Hear how Eilidh actually quit the sport in her late teens, why she missed Christine Ohuruogu in the call room and how she briefly ended up living with her coach Malcolm Arnold.

This episode is littered with superb insights into life as an athlete, it really is one for the die-hard athleticos!

Episode 13: Chris Brown, Athletics

Don’t panic. This episode isn’t actually about me and my love of Athletics! For episode 13, I had to invite my namesake Chris Brown onto the podcast.

The Bahamian star of Track and Field has enjoyed a glorious career spanning over 20 years. Nicknamed “Fireman”, Chris has won 14 global medals, indoors and out.

London 2012 saw the 400m legend lead off the Bahamas relay team to a famous gold medal, which definitely helped appease many individual 4th place finishes at major championships.

So, which 5 defining moments has Chris Brown chosen? Listen as Chris Brown asks Chris Brown!

Following the outcome of the McLaren report into state-sponsored doping in Russia, Darya was able to prove herself a clean athlete, having lived and trained in America for 3 years.

In this podcast, Darya talks about that rollercoaster week in Rio and how she hopes her Olympic experience will be more enjoyable in Tokyo.

Episode 10: Sally Gunnell OBE, Athletics

Episode 10! Double digits!

And to celebrate turning 10, my guest for this special episode is the athlete who turned me into a sports fan.

Sally Gunnell is one of the most successful athletes in the history of British athletics.

Sally began her career as a heptathlete, but she then focused on the 100m Hurdles, before finally finding her calling over 400m Hurdles.

Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth gold medals all followed, as did the World Record.

However, Sally was unable to defend any of those titles due to numerous injuries and she ended her track career in 1997.

Following her retirement, Sally worked for the BBC and has been involved with numerous projects and charities.

So sit back and enjoy listening to the 5 Defining Moments in the career of Sally Gunnell.

Thank you all for listening!

In this podcast, Jordanne discusses her early years in the sport, life on tour as a mother and the highs and lows that came with her two Paralympic bronze medals.

However, his world records stuck around longer than he did. Upon retiring aged 21, John has gone on to work at Disneyland, broadcast for American television and chair the US Olympic Alumni Association.
